One screen, four grudges

  • Two players split top and bottom. Three or four share a 2×2 grid; with three, the spare corner shows the track map.
  • Every player gets their own HUD, their own shop visit and their own pad rumble.
  • A YOU / P1 to P4 marker floats over every human truck, so you always know who to blame.
  • Every track open from the start, forwards, with day, sunset or night.
  • Fill the grid with computer rivals from Easy to Expert.

In-game four-player split-screen: each player gets their own view and HUD.

The Cup

A season in an evening

A season of races for 1 to 4 players plus computer rivals. Points for every finish, a table after each round, one winner, one trophy.

  1. Pick the length. 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 rounds. Points go 10, 6, 3, 1.
  2. Set a budget if you want a money game: prize money every round ($100K, $70K, $45K, $25K), upgrades between rounds, and damage that carries over until you pay to fix it.
  3. Race, shop, repeat. The table after each round tells you who's buying the pizza.
The Cup's prize-giving as the game draws it: a gold cup over a three-step podium, with Player 1, 2 and 3 on their steps in their colours, and confetti
The Cup ends with a podium and a trophy for the season winner.

Network race

LAN party, dirt edition

Race friends on other computers on your local network. One player hosts, up to three join.

  • Games on your network show up automatically, or join with a lobby code.
  • Ready up, and the host starts the race.
  • Pickups, crates and Dirty Tricks are shared, so everyone sees the same oil slick.
  • If someone drops out, a computer driver takes their truck.

Network races currently use a local network. Internet matchmaking is not available.
